I’m a pretty big fan of Dan Savage… I think he gets it right more times than not… and this couldn’t be more right.
FOR FUCKS SAKE! Why is Europe so in love with this rapist that they are willing to just let him live out his days there? It is like they go out of their way to make it clear that they in no way plan to hold rapists responsible for their crimes, especially if they are rich and famous rapists.

Jesus Christ! Can you imagine if he was doing surgeries on boys that were deemed to have penises that were “larger than average?” There would be so much outcry! There is nothing wrong with these girls! They are perfectly functional! Not to mention they are little girls that have no say in the matter of chopping up their genitalia so that they look more “normal.”

I don’t think its that we should worry about the color pink… I think its we should be worried about the lack of other options available to young girls.
For me, pink is pink haha its a color. If someones favorite color is pink then great. But I feel we push on the color of pink too much. Along with the color pink there is the view of femininity, and with our society, femininity is viewed (in the instance of children toys) with house ware toys, training them for motherhood, and passivity. I think for example anytime I go to a children toy section in a big named store such a Wal*Mart or Target the girls section is so annoying! I just want to yell “omg girls do more than their nails, shop, and clean!” Are these the only things that we are teaching young girls?”
I think that if I were a parent, I would exspose my kid to both sides of the toy aisle because I dont want to tell my young daughter that she only has the option to Clean, cook, or do her nails.
Just sayin.
